LEAGUE OVERVIEW

Hoop Show League is a youth basketball league dedicated to building confidence and skill development in young athletes. Serving as a bridge between recreational level basketball and high level AAU travel basketball, our league offers a competitive environment where players can improve dramatically while having fun. With a focus on true development, our league provides structured training sessions, competitive gameplay, and mentorship from experienced coaches. By striking the perfect balance between competition and enjoyment, Hoop Show League empowers young players to grow both on and off the court, fostering a love for the game and instilling the confidence needed to succeed.

 8 Week Season + Playoffs:

COMPETITION LEVEL

Our league's emphasis on competitive gameplay isn't just about winning, it's about fostering growth, resilience, and self-confidence in young athletes. By providing a challenging yet supportive environment, we empower kids to push their limits, learn from both victories and defeats, and develop essential life skills that extend far beyond the basketball court. With carefully matched opponents and a focus on skill enhancement, Hoop Show League ensures that every player experiences the thrill of competition while honing their abilities to the fullest. We are the bridge that assist players reach high levels of  competition.

Gray Division (Co-Ed Boys and Girls Ages 7-9):

What I’ve learned from Hoop Show is mostly the details that make you successful. Success is in the details and when training with Coach Scott this is the emphasis. Hoop Show is fun & competitive, it is a learning experience that has helped me progress and develop in ways unimaginable!

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING EVALUATIONS

Prior to Evaluations

Right after you sign up for evaluations you will receive an email that will confirm that your child is signed up and make sure that you have the times and location, so that you can save these and put them in your schedule.

You will also receive an email their where you can ask any questions or issues that you need answered in the before your child's evaluation date.

 

Evaluation Day 1 (Tuesday)

When you arrive on Tuesday, you will check in with one of our coaches. The first day of evaluations our is focused on testing the various basketball skills of each player. We run the kids through stations, each station focusing on a different basketball skill. While the station is being run our coaches are taking notes and evaluating each player.

Evaluation Day 2 (Thursday)

Day 2 of our evaluations is focused on letting the kids play. We focus on evaluating their teamwork skills and basketball instincts at the time. 

After day 2 our coaches will meet and finishing put together each players evaluation and determine what team each player should be placed on. By Friday at noon you will receive an email with our coaches evaluations as well as what team you were selected to be on.

Media, Orientation, and Jersey (Saturday)

After each player has been placed on a team, everyone who is a part of the Youth League as well as the AAU Team will be invited to come on Saturday. Saturday will consist of the following activities:

  • Bio photos are taken of all the players

  • Jerseys are given out to all the players

  • Youth League teams will be finalized

  • Parents will have an opportunity to meet with their coach

  • Expectations and standards for the season will be set by the Coaches

  • All remaining questions will be answered

​GAME & PRACTICE LOCATION

SEASON DETAILS

Each season is a three-month commitment for each player. During this period, each team will have access to weekly practices as well as two official game weeks. Each season period is as follows:

  • FALL: September-November

  • WINTER:  December- February  

  • SPRING:  March-May

  • SUMMER: June & July
